Yes, I think you can. First, I would get a medical check up and make sure it is nothing physical that is causing this inability to focus. Second, I would set some goals. Where do you want to be in one year, five years, ten? What will you need to do in order to get there? Over 10 years ago, I did not have a college degree and I decided I wanted to go into law. So I realized, in order to do that, I would need to change several things in my life ... 1st, I would have to stop being complacent in my current job ... I would have to quit and go back to school and get my bachelors. Then I would have to figure out what law school I wanted to go to, etc. You have to be able to have a VISION for Yourself. What is it that makes YOU happy?

If it's something you really want you'll find the focus. It sounds like you are feeling kind of stale where you are. Maybe you need to find something you're really into. If you love what you do it will come naturally to totally engage. If you don't want to go elsewhere, try to get involved in something challenging in your job.You need a kick start. If there is something you are working towards it also helps to get you going. Is there something you'd like to have, own or a place you'd like to live or visit. Make that you're goal when you go to work each day. Just tell yourself that's why you're working. The better you do, the faster you'll get to the reward.

The key is understanding your business. What is it that your business does for the community it serves? How can you help your business serve an even larger community. How you can help it do what it does better. Do not be afraid to give some of you good ideas to people who could be great contacts for the future. Remember you are not competing with them you are competing against inefficiency. If you do this the people who need to see will see what you do. After all if they are good at their jobs then the will need to identify their company assets and by contributing in these ways you will become quite an asset to the people you work for.

Try making a list of what you want out of life and the things you need to do to accomplish it. Look at it every day and they may help motivate you.

Good luck!!!!! stay confident, have self esteem and know in your own heart, mind and soul that you can be and do anything you want to. if you fall down the latter brush yourself back off and start climbing again. over and over and over if need be. don't let anything or anyone step in your way or path.......

Of course you can. I used to spend entire days just on Answers. I was neglecting my job. The guilt of getting a paycheck was eating me alive. And now...er actually, I haven't changed. Maybe you can't after all.

Yes,A person can change themselves
if they have a good enough reason to do
so. Man has to have a goal, something to
strive for,a reason or a person to care for.
something to make him stand tall, and be
counted. Yes, You can change,if you love
yourself enough to do so. Man needs a
reason to live,if not just for Himself. DO IT.
