Warhammer is more than just a game. It requires the assembly of models to create your army. Most people spend more time assembling and painting their army than playing the game. It is a cool game if you have a group of friends that you can play with on a regular basis and you have the money to buy the models to build your army.

Its not just about playing about with little figures...its a social gathering with like minded friends....usually at each others home ..taking it in turns to be the host.
Yes it can taker forever and day getting your little army of figures ready..painting them etc...but the fun part is buying the best ones you can so you have a stronger army. And it isnt for those who want to have a go on a whim...coz it can get expensive..you've really got to want to play this game.
I dont play it because its to over my head..but my son has been playing these types of board games (role play) for a long time, he calls it his chilling out time. But usually people who do this also play the cards games ..big business,big comps,and yet again can cost a bit of money to get started.

yes its a cool game. especially when painting the battilion. i usually lose anyway. lol
