I think you have a great chance. I am about to graduate from UCF and when I applied to get in I had about the same GPA and ACT scores. I didn't have quite as much volunteering as you, but I had some. But one other thing I did have was dual enrollment credits.

I wouldn't worry if I were you; it's not a really tough school to get into as far as I know. And it sounds like you will have plenty of experience to write about in your admissions essays. You should be fine.

Some tips/advice for when you get in:
- look for off-campus housing and look early to get a good place
- arrive for classes early because parking is horrible; you might want to find an apartment that provides shuttle service for this reason
- get involved and join clubs; it is the best way to make friends with similar interests
- buy your books off-campus to save money; try CB&S Bookstore
- once you choose a major, get to know the professors in your department; they are the best resource for career advice
- take advantage of the perks of being a UCF student: free gym access, free tickets to local theme parks, discounted computer software, student discounts at local stores, free career counseling, etc.

Good Luck!

Admission is determined not only by grades, extracurricular activities and community service, but a very important part of the decision will rest on your ability to craft an excellent admissions essay. This essay will make you or break you regardless of your high grades or activities. Get as much feedback as you can on this essay, it is too important for just one draft or opinion.

I have read many admission essays, much of their opinion of you will be based on what you write.

Yes, I think you do, because it's not only the grades that determine whether or not your accepted, and you have a really good variety of extracurricular activities. Good Luck! = )
