How would this concept affect the issue of Mankind and free will? Are all of our actions pre-ordained? If the future already exists, then haven't all of our decisions already been made?

As I understand it, time is simply another dimension, one of at least nine that we exist in. Of course there are the first two, which movies pretty much exist in, and the third one that springs into being when you put on funny looking glasses.
Why am I talking about movies? Basic Beothius my friend.
You can see a movie (flowing thru time) or 'see' a movie (in a can, or on a DVD or video cassette.) from outside of the films intrinsic time.
From our prospective, past, present, and future exist simultaneously, n'est pas? But to the people on the film, it passes in consecutive order.
Does that mean they were predestined to make the decisions they made during the movie?
No. Even if your a smarty pants and want to bring up the script, they didn't have to follow it. Better yet, make it a home movie, then the script issue become moot.
So within the film, free will exists, even though we extra-temporal creatures (in relation to the film) can see, and even know the entire film line for line.

Second question, would time travel be possible? Of course it's possible. Time is simply another dimension, as such travel within in is possible. Is it possible for us to control the direction we travel in it? I have no idea, and neither does anyone else. The potential for paradox means nothing either way. If they happen/happened, would we know it?
Back to the previous example, with films, if the film is edited, or you watch the story with an alternate ending or deleted scene, would the people inside the film know the difference? Of course not.

Hope this answers your question. If not though, I can always argue the other side, and say you were pre-ordained not to like it! So there... hehehe...

that might actually assist you photograph this think of a piece of the present in 2nd. merely overlook thickness for the 2nd. Now to represent the a number of happenings you are able to photograph them as layers. The layers above us are the destiny and the layers below us are the previous. From this you'll see the previous and the destiny are on the comparable place. yet by their very definition they are no longer on the comparable time. So viewing it like this then there is definitely no possibility that the previous is present precise now Even contained in the parallel universes theories there could be different issues going on precise right here and now yet in a parallel universe. those are no longer merely a replica of the previous yet an decision possibility for the present.

No, we're always in the present. By definition, the future hasn't occured yet, even though it's alway just ahead of us. If predestination exists and all our decisions and actions were already decided for us, wouldn't the being in control done so in the past, or does it make the decisions for us in the present, in real time? Even so, the past, present, and future do not exist at the same time, even though they're separated by the smallest of margins.
I believe in free will. If some being has preordained I'd be writing this, I am unaware of it and therefore the belief that I made the decision holds. Belief defines your reality, so in my frame of reality, free will exists. If this being made itself known to me, my perception of it and it's power would influence my belief and, accordingly, my reality.

We are accustomed to viewing things as objects in space, but let us, for a moment view all object, (including ourselves) as events in time rather than objects in space. Then information coming to us from a past time and information coming to us from a future time, where they meet would be present day reality. Therefore, because information is always coming together, there are many presents all including their past information and future information. Having said all of this, we must remember that time is a concept as oppose to a part of reality. It is a concept that is necessary for a logical mind and human beings have logical minds. Time has a lot to do with the mind.

We are always doing time travel. When you walk from your home to the store down the street, you are not only travelling through space, but you are also travelling through time, i.e., just as you are walking through certain angles in space to reach the store, you are also walking through 10 minutes of time to reach the store.

Time is the most ill defined concept in physics. All it tells us that when things change we can assign a number to this change and call it "time". It may be nothing more than a man made abstraction that nature does not understand or care about.

GOD said "I am Alpha and Omega" He alone knows the past, present and future all at once. You can pray for someone after they die and he, alone, can apply that prayer to the past .As for us mortals , no, time travel will never be possible . p.s. If it was don't ya think someone would have came back to see us by now

All I can say is that time travel will never be possible. People who think it is possible are crazy.

No.

That's why God invented time - so everything wouldn't happen at once.
