The reasoning behind the US wanting afghans to attack russia were actually very ingenius.
It was supposed to be like russia's civil war.

For some time, I was hearing talk and buzz about how the Trade Center towers were brought down with controlled demolition techniques used to implode old buildings, and that the planes were merely window dressing. And for some time I refused to even consider that anyone in our country would do such a thing.
Eventually, I kept hearing more and more, but didn't want to believe it until I personally heard the audiotapes of the radio traffic between the first firefighters and rescue personnel on the scene. A substantial number of them reported hearing or being near to explosions on mid, and lower-levels of the towers, even down in the sub-basements. One group of firemen emerged into one of the garage levels which had been intact when they initially passed-through, only to find the same garage pretty much demolished, and visible evidence of a shaped-charge detonation that was NOT caused by burning jet fuel (which had never reached those lower levels).
I take quite seriously those radio calls by the firefighters. They would have NO REASON to lie or fabricate, and most of them know exactly what a controlled demolition aftermath looks like.
I have come to the conclusion that there is FAR more to 9/11 than just a terrorist act. I believe that Bush's pro-CIA government created the disaster as the ultimate excuse to fool decent Americans into backing his war for oil, using the guise of a "war on terror" as the cover-up. After all, he did force his way into office to begin with. THE PEOPLE voted for Gore; Bush used his friends on the Supreme Court to APPOINT him President.

I mean, can you REALLY trust anyone with such close ties to both the CIA and Big Oil?

No the whole CIA involvement of 9/11 is just somehow created by the "Blame America first" liberals and anti-war activists. CIA, true, helped Afghan fighters trying to repel off Russian Communists trying to take over and bring forth communism into the middle east. But what created this turmoil we have now and why Bin Laden hates and wishes us to be destroyed is for helping Israel (long time ago, not current events), and also now being allowed and having "friendly" ties with Saudi Arabia royal families.

Saudi Arabia is a holy land considered by middle easterns and Islam faith. And to see westerns, the "filthy dog" Americans step foot on the holy land creates turmoil and rage within the Islamic Facists. On top of that helping the jews(Israel) in their eyes are wrong doings. Now that quarrel goes all the way back to when Moses led the slaves from Egypt to the Promised Land and they fought and took control of Canaan. So this dispute between Jews and Islam goes back 3000+ years.

That right there is but tip of the iceberg in the whole middle east turmoil. But as you can see CIA only had involvment of helping Afghan fighters fighting back to Russian Communism, because at that time we never wanted to see Russia claim communism back again. And taking over Afghanistan was just the start of becoming powerful again.
