Sorry, as long as they have kids together they have ties. Their marriage is over, its time to let it go. The kids needs are what is important now, that is ALL the ties they have.

I think you must realize that when you get involved with a man and his children, you will have to learn to deal with the mother of his kids. It is a very tough situation. You have to look carefully at just how much you want to be with him. As the children get older the situation may get worse. Remember there will always be a connection between the man and his Ex-wife for the sake of the children.

It is always in the best interests of the children if all adults can get along. If she is being difficult, than no you shouldnt have to deal with her.But if you can be a mediator, perhaps you will become a great stepMom Knowing that the childrens needs are the most important thing.

You dont have to put up with her, but try and tolerate her for the kids sake. Even if your husband hates her, you should ask him to do the same. I am sure that you love those kids as if they were yours. So dont be mean and hurtful to their mother even if your soon to be husband has to put up with her. If you want to be apart of his life for a long time, i suggest that you accpet him as he is and what he was with. GOOD LUCK!!

Yes. She mothered his kids. There's really no way of getting around it. Just remember he is with you and not her for a reason, and anytime she decides to annoy you or act rude, just remember that he's with you because you're better than that.
