I will watch it for research purposes only...
Btw, it sounds like you haven't heard yet:
ABC announced that it was FICTION. They did that today. Fiction = non-truths.
Also, Clinton came out today and spoke on it stating that it did not reflect any true facts on the 911 Commission Report. = lies. They are twisting the 911 Commission Report which really ticks me off because that report proves there were no WMDs in Iraq.
I have no problem with a good debate as long as it is based on facts.
I also believe our country is ignorant enough as it is without more false propaganda being thrown at us on network tv.
It was bad enough to have propaganda movies... yes I am not a fan of Fah. 911 either.... but this is going to be aired on network tv.
PS That will be the last ABC show I ever watch.

Very good question.
Since only 900 copies were released, it's unlikely that anyone on Yahoo answers has seen it; however, there is enough information in the blogsphere to make a few statements about the miniseries.
1) It is a dramatization and it composites several people and/or events into a more dramatic single person/event for narrative flow.
2) It criticizes both the Clinton and Bush administration.
3) The depictions of criticism of the Clinton administration tell the true story in a dramatized form but are not 100% factually accurate.
4) Democratic members of the Senate threatened to pull ABC's broadcast license if they aired the original version.
5) They producers of the dramatization are die hard Democrats that don't understand why people think they are conservative shills.

I am really curious about this film and would go to a theater and pay to see it as a movie -- as I have paid to see two of Michael Moore's films. He definitely is biased.
All reports of the "Path to 9/11" indicate it is biased too, produced and controlled by a highly partisan Republican with an agenda. The film was purported to be "history without a working title" and plans were well developed to distribute teaching materials via Scholastic Press. None involved with the film can verify its accuracy so until that happens it can not be televised on public air waves. Let it open in theatres without problem. But don't foist it off as news unless is passes all tests.
Added comment: I did watch much of it and found it poorly made and jerky (film editing) and snarky. I doubt Madeline Albright was as portrayed.

At this stage of the game I would be surprised if it even airs. The story has snowballed and ABC is lying through its teeth. If it airs I will watch it. However we will never see the original version that was sent out to reviewers and some Internet sites for early reviews. That is a shame, because the “evidence” if you will has been tampered with. They have no one to blame except themselves. For those who still think this was still being edited do the research then tell me I am biased.

There has already been so much controversy over who said what and who did or didn't do what.......I can't imagine any program that's based on the official bi-partisan 9/11 report that wouldn't be subject to such criticism. I think it's due to the fact that most of the key players are still alive and no one wants to shown as incompetent - and everyone involved on both sides wants to be remembered favorably in the history books - even if they have to try and re-write the history!
If ABC has any nuts, it should be a good show.

You make a good point, however, many of the people criticizing it saw advance copies of the film and have pointed out errors of fact. The biggest problem seems to be that it purports to be based on the 9/11 commission report and people have been able to identify that it actually contradicts the report in places and glosses over important findings of that report.
Not sure if I will watch.

I think that the propaganda piece, "Path to 9/11" should be shown in it's entirety AFTER the November elections. It is obvious that this cheesy manipulated pile of crap was created and funded by the the right-wing to sway the electorate (not all that sophisticated to begin with) to vote for candidates who support the Bush regime's rape of America. That ABC would participate in such a sham seems to indicate that they have either been intimidated or infiltrated by the fascist elements trying to totally control America for their own benefit.

There's always people bitching about TV programing and a **** load of stuff before it actually is aired. Last time, it was the Ronald Reagan bio that was yanked from CBS because he was truthfully depicted as a henpecked, bigoted simpleton.

well... I would like to watch it before making a personal opinion... but the odd thing is... many of the people that have watched it, are reported to have said it's pretty much taking a lot of liberties with the truth...
that makes me concerned... people have enough of a hard time telling fiction from the truth... we don't need "docudramas" taking liberties...

i'm not watching it since it is a dramatization. It is not a documentary. I went to the website and a lot of it is based on the 9/11 official report which I feel was not an adequate investigation into 9/11. so that's why i'm not watching it.
