Because the last few elections, Democrats seem to be trying to see how poor a candidate they can run and still be taken seriously. If they'd get their act together, they could sweep back into power in Congress this November, and with a good candidate, the White House in '08. So far, it doesn't look like that'll happen, leaving voters once again with a choice between Tweedledum and Tweedledumber.

Six rather everyone seems to be killed and over one thousand are injured. is this the Democrats fault, why vote for them? Your question is as stupid as this one.

Why would any sane person vote for a party that wants to give terrorists rights, who wants Saddam back in power, who wish that another 9/11 would happen so Bush will look bad, who want to just give the money to the poor because rich guys are evil for being rich, who don't care if illegals come in (although, both parties suck at that), who doesn't have a plan to fight terrorist except to give up, who won't let us drill in Alaska because of some stupid caribou, who feeds off of corrupt unions, who thinks tax cuts are bad for the country (yet the deficit drooped a lot this year), who lies that the economy is bad, who will only make decisions on what the rest of the world thinks, who wants to cut military spending, who always whine every time they lose an election, who thinks the words "under God" should be removed from the pledge, who wants to get rid of guns to cut crime (isn't crack illegal, yet people get them anyway. Like criminals won't get guns if you make them illegal), you get my point.

There are people who are brainwashed into thinking Republicans can do no wrong, just like there those who believe the same about Democrats. They could run the devil or his brother (JebBob) and they'd still vote for the party, not the person.

Why would anyone vote Democratic after Jimmy Carter?
No one knows what history will show.
Good Presidents and lousy Presidents from both sides of the isle will continue to come and go as always.
Just vote for the one who most closely represents your views - and hope he/she isn't lying through their teeth.

The Republican party is essentially a philosophy of democratic leadership and really has no bearing on the popularity of a particular president.
