There are tests out there that can detect the pregnancy hormone as early as three days after your first missed period .I believe it is called First Response.Every woman is different through pregnancy but I don't think that you would get a big belly right away.Usually it is at around three months the earliest that you would see any physical changes.I can tell you that a most definite sign is a change in your breast.whether it be color, size or tenderness. The breast are the first to signal a woman her body is preparing to go through a major change. Hope this helped, good luck.

My advise to you would be to wait until around the time your period normally occurs. By then your HCG level will be high enough for the pregnancy test to detect the HCG in your urine. The accuracy around this time has been very good depending on following the directions carefully. Also from my own experience I know you won't waste your money if wait until then because my last period was Dec. 7 and I was trying to get pregnant and I took tests between 19th-21st.(My mom works for a health clinic so I didn't have to be out of any money thanks to her) Anyways the test were showing negative feedback so I decided to wait and see if I would get my period. January 10th came and I didn't get a period so I took the test and it came out positive! I was so happy! So in order for you to prevent wasting your money just wait until you missed your period.

The first thing you could do is notice if you have any pregnancy symptoms like dizziness, cramping, backache, missed period, spotting, sore or tender breasts, nausea, lose of appetite, fatigue, etc. The best thing to do is to wait until your period is due and see if it comes. If not, then definitely spend the money and get a home pregnancy test. A pregnancy test should give you accurate results if you take it around the time your period is due.

You should wait until after you miss your first period. You don't have to pay for a test in most cities. There are some facilities that will test you for free although you may have to sit through a video and talk to a counselor.

Its about $10 for a test and worth it for peace of mind. Really if you miss your cycle then you are PG.
