I am also a Christian and have had a vasectomy. I don't know of any place in the Scriptures that says anything against that operation.

No, it is most definitely not a sin.
And is much easier for your body to endure than it is for your wife to have a sterilization operation, so good for you for doing it.
Go right ahead, God doesn't mind if you have a vasectomy.

there is no reference to vasectomy in the Bible. the lesson in the story of Onan also does not apply in ur case. go ahead and get it done with and do the world a world of good!
