A lot of people are missing the point of seeing this film. The reason to see it is BECAUSE it's so bad. Seriously. This movie is so bad that it unintentionally is a comedy... AND PEOPLE LOVE IT!!! I work at a theatre (sometimes) and the audiences that have really enjoyed this flick were the ones who let go and laughed all the way through it. And I mean they REALLY laughed.
What do you expect to do at a movie named "Snakes on a Plane", get SCARED? No way. Find a big plot twist? Let's see... it's a plane... there are snakes on it... and Samuel L. Jackson has "HAD ENOUGH" of them. End of plot.
How do you PAY to see a movie named "Snakes on a Plane" and come out saying "Man that was dumb. I want my money back" ? Sorry, but that's part of what's wrong with this country right there. What were you looking for? Light opera? Shakespeare? You weren't warned by the title?
It's like the morons who want to sue Starbucks when their coffee is too hot. How dumb have we gotten?
I'd understand if it was another miss by M. Night Shamallyan or "Superman Returns" where the movie didn't live up to the hype. Those deserve criticism. But a movie NAMED "Snakes on a PLANE". COME ON!!! You got what you deserved.
If you want to see a good horror film go somewhere else. A rivetting action movie... go somewhere else. But if you want to see a hilarious mess, grab a friend with a sense of humour, have a couple beers (if you're legal aged to do so) and laugh your butt off. Otherwise stay home. The title says it all.

I want to see this movie sooo bad.
I wasn't able to get to it though... I will however be renting it when it comes out.
Have you seen the music video that sorta promotes it.
Cobra Starship - Snakes On A Plane
I personally love the video because of the people in it. Alot of which are from the record label "Fueled By Ramen" - which has Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, The Academy Is... and alot of other bands I listen to/or used to listen to anyways.

It got so much publicity it was hard not to like. It was disturbing and obviously scary, but was a good intense movie. It wasn't much for plot...I mean...snakes on a plane??? But anyway, it's just one of the fad movies out that doesn't have any real talent in acting other than the sex scene in the bathroom. Computerized serpents and screaming people. That's about all it's got!

I am not even going to rent it when it comes out on DVD. It does not look to me like a good movie.

If it wasn't for Samuel L. Jackson I would have never seen it. He made it worth watching.

It's really enjoyable if you accept that it's a comedy. Just sit back and laugh.
