For example, I commonly mistype the word "and" and the first choice is "Adan" as a correction. Granted, I am a dee dee dee to mistype (see youtube's dee dee dee song before commenting on this) the word"and" but it is what I do.

because computers are stupid. the programmers have tried to make the functionality easier by trying to make the spell checker intuitive - that is, they try to have it pick the most likely word, not the most common.

btw: don't feel so bad, I always mispell "the"... ;-)

Nice Try. Everyone knows that YouTube is only for watching fake people in Viral Ads (Renatto, FatDwarf, LonelyGirl15, etc) and for watching short soft core porn clips.

Boy. I would watch the dee dee dee song if it had a 'shemale' tag or if it was 'featured' (ie. someone paid for it).....but since tha tis not the case you will have to settle for this answer:

Spell check was developed by the guys who invented Pong. It hasn't been updated since 1979. They will get around to it as soon as they finish restoring their AMC Pacers. Settle down, woman. Settle down.
