Yes. I lost the remote once and went to the electronics store and bought a generic remote. The original one did come out of hiding eventually and then I had two, which was convenient because one could be lost at any given time. For the last two weeks both have been lost and this has been annoying. BTW, I am a single guy.

Yeah, but it did show up about 4 years later when I put my couch outside for the garbage men to tak it away. I had to take it apart as best as I did. Guess what? It was lodged right in the springs. If your remote is lost, I am sure it can easily be found.

I'm a cable tech, and some of my customers have.

I'm not a klepto, but I work with remote controls all day, so my instinct is to just stick the remote in my jeans pocket when I'm done using it. I often end up with more of them at the end of the day than I started with. Sorry, everybody!

I have loss my remote before but I found it. Isn't it funny how we have become so reliable on a remote control but forget that we can manually walk up to the tv and change the channel that way. Or we are just plain lazy to do it manually.

Yes. It's quite common when you have a toddler in the house. We find them hidden in the fridge, in the toy box, in the laundry hamper, back of the closet. Some we never find.

It does indeed SUCK!

I once lost mine and even after moving, emptied the house, never did find it.
