It can vary from nothing to a host of symptoms including swelling, tenderness in the breasts, 'morning' sickness, cravings, tiredness, and of course a missing period. Sounds a lot like coming down with the flu, doesn't it? All woman are different and all pregnancies are different, but those are the most common.

Don't listen to these posters who say you would be sick. I've never been sick when I was pregnant. Most women are, but not all of them so that shouldn't be the only indicator you look for. Sore breasts/nipples are one of the first signs. Also, even when the baby is too small to press on your bladder, the change in hormones makes you have to pee more often, so watch for that. Also, mood swings can start right away after getting pregnant so that's another sign you can watch for. With both of my pregnancies the first symptom I had was fatigue. Even after a full night's sleep I needed a nap in the middle of the day. Usually by the 5th week at home tests are pretty accurate. But, also expensive. You could always go to your ob-gyn for a blood test to be certain. Good luck!

All women are different with their pregnancy symptoms. You wouldn't be able to feel your uterus if that is what you are asking. When I was pregnant it never really felt real until I felt the baby kick for the first time. By 5 weeks of my pregnancy I felt tired and had a lot of tenderness in my breasts.

Everyone is different . I found out I was pregnant when I was 5 weeks , thats only because I missed my period . Then my breast were a lil tender but I thought that was my period coming on. With my first I was sick as hell and I found out when I was 7weeks. I suggest you take a test to know for sure

nothing. Get a test if your worried about it. I got a cold, went to the doctor, she asked me the first day of my last period, then asked if I could be preg. I said no, then started wondering, then I went out that night, bought a test found out I was preg, then went to the health dep. to get tested, found out I was 5.5 weeks, then I got really tired all the time, then sick w/in the next few weeks.

By five weeks you might be feeling very tired. You might have increased appetite and you might have nausea and some morning sickness.
Every pregnancy is different so it is hard to say what you might experience and what you might not.

You might have bouts of nausea. Your breasts might be tender and/or enlarged. Most people wouldn't notice any weight gain, but your clothes might be feeling a little tighter.

You MIGHT feel nauseated, bloated, tender breasts, tired. You COULD feel nothing at all. Many women have pregnancies that have little to no symptoms.

Not really.. You might have *morning* sickness and missed periods. But you won't feel any movement for a while yet.
