It isn't. There is as much water as there was before.

There is only a depletion of DRINKING water. It is declining because of high population and as a result, high demand for it. Since there is no cheap way to remove salt from salt water and hence making it drinkable, water we can drink is becoming depleted.

The growing population on planet Earth does not permit the water cycle to regenerate itself. Cutting down forests certainly does not help either.

I hate seeing automatic sprinklers go off when its raining out turn them off what a waste of water let Mother Nature take care of it.
