It will turn over but it wont start. It died as I was driving which it's done before about a year ago it did that I had some work done to the pick up unit in the dist. and it has'nt done that since. The oil light came on also????????

a vehicle that old, it could be lots of things ..fuel pump, timing belt,cracked distributor cap,water in the fuel line,if it's injected,clogged injectors, it's hard to tell without,being there to check it out,better off to contact a mechanic

First thing to do is make sure nothing under the hood is obviously disconnected or anything.

Then check it for spark. If there is no spark, troubleshoot the ignition. If there is a spark, I would suspect either a malfunctioning ECU, a bad fuel pressure regulator, or a dead fuel pump.

check all the boxes under the hood.make sure all the plug ins are secure.might be the amp gage.did ya check the fuel pump.was it low on oil or did it just come on cause it died.plymouths have alot of boxes that can go bad over time due to curosion and just plain old wear and tear.

many problems could be - . take out spark plug and connect to wire and frame ground - check for spark when turning over - electronic box in air cleaner problem area . oil pressure may be other problem . it is normal for light on when engine not running
