I try to push the clutch down on my 95 Hyundai Accent, however it takes a lot of force to push it down at times. This just started happening when i placed a new exhaust system and a new oxygen sensor within my car. So, does n e one know how this can be fix, or how this happened??

i have a problem like this. you have to replace the clutch cylinders. you have a bad clutch master cylinder which is getting ready to blow. If it does, you are in for a major repair. get it replaced now or the slave cylinder is going to shoot it's guts right into your pressure plate and trash it.

Your clutch pedal should have about 1.5-1.75 inches of free travel before the clutch engages. Maybe the service shop disconnected the linkage and did not set back up properly. If thios is the case you will be replacing the clutch plate and a whole lot more.

never ever heard of a clutch cylinder...most likely cause is a damaged or improperly set clutch cable, especially since you just had work done, they may have damaged it or moved it during the repair process
