i have wondered why some religions, always have the woman to wear long dresses,but didn`t men used to wear long robes?

Because people in many cultures would not accept men in long robes. There are many non Muslim women who wear long skirts as well. That's actually 'in' right now i suppose. I see many stores in the mall arring longer skirts and dresses. I feel more like a real woman in a dress than I do in pants.

What are you talking about? Muslim women wear pants. Just not the super tight one (the ones you have to zip up using a pair of pliers) because of modesty so that perverts can't oogle at them. There are some women who LIKE men not staring at them and the best way to do that is to dress modestly. Obviously if you are dressed like a slut, people will think that you are a slut, and therefore treat you like a slut. I mean if you are just going around carrying them on platters, then obviously men will come and grab them.
I never get those women who will dress like...a slut...and then complain why men don't look them up in the eye (too busy staring...at other parts) or why they get treated like trash, or why men think of them nothing but a toy to play with, or why men just "stare" at them.

Just 200 years ago, women in almost every part of the Christian world covered their hair, legs, arms, and bellies in public, capitalism has changed this to a large extent, but not in the Muslim parts of the world, even though Western Christian capitalists are trying hard through many clever ways to corrupt Muslim women to be lewd in their appearances. But God rewards the righteousness of modesty and punishes the evils of lewdness in all its forms.

Muslim women wear pants too.
but the reason why you see many devoted Muslim women not waring tight pants rather long dresses is to not show their body curves. it's for modesty. and you will never see a nun wearing pants either also for modesty.

I am a Muslim woman and I wear pants, skirts, capris, dresses and whatever I choose to. Do you think we all walk around in burkas or something??

the mens prayer outfits are such as a robe,but it would be dofficut for most men to work in anything but pants,women are not to liken themselfs as men,even the bible speaks of this too,it is sunnah and commanded of us so we obey,but is for modesty also
