I agree, there are a lot of cold and cruel people out there. But, if we look real hard there are some really awesome people out there, too! Bless you!

Do you think everyone is cruel and cold? I don't find that to be true. Many are out for "number one." That segment of the population appears to be disinterested in the stresses other people face. Others are open, honest and just down to earth good people.

becuz people have this thing called and ID and it tells you what you want the EGO tell the ID no to almost everything and only do what you need, the SUPER EGO checks the needs and want to its list of morals and ethics after that I believe that people have a "CARE LEVEL" I think it is the thing that takes in infomation from others and in a jiffy ( which is .001 of a second) rates the info from the memories and already past learned things and then on that scale the person desides whether to react in a positive, nagative, or passive way. To prevent this from happening in a nagative or passive way ask a question first instead of thinking people may just want to hear your information. An example of this is...."Have you ever___________?" this way you have their eyes on you and no one else. think about it when a elder person starts to tell you something which most of the time you have no idea about the subject they are talking about you all of the sudden realize you have sat for an hour listening to a very wise person. you can become that wise person by only telling people things that they think is important and you can find that out by asking a version of my example question. Now if you ask in an un-social and in a manner that will not be liked by more than not people then that is your fault and you have to deside if you want to be made fun of or just act "normal" which in diff. social enviroments is "normal" to them.

Well My Mom says there is a little bit of good in the worst of us and a little bit of bad in the best of us. The hard part for me is minding my own business. What other people do is none of my business. My business is what I do. If someone slaps me. That is between him and his God His business. How I respond to him is between me and my God thats my business. If more people minded there own business and worked on there own charecter defects the world would be a better place I think. Its not them its me. If people are cruel and cold its my business to show them how im warm and kind. Some people are raised by wolves and dont know any better. Its our job not to preach with our mouths but with our actions.

I wish I knew the answer to that. I just read a batch of answers to someone who is genuinely phobic about needles and wanted advice and the answers ranged from compassionate to absolutely cruel and mean.

I do not understand the need to chime in if one has no help to offer, just to berate the person already hurting.

We human beings are kind of sad.

it seems to be the way of the world, I see in the generation now of 18 to 20 yr olds, they are becoming more caring about others, it will make a great difference in our society, I try to treat everyone the same, in the manner in which I would like to be treated myself, we should all try to be kinder to our fellow man, & learn to all get along. Wouldn't that be wonderful.Have a great day.We are a great society.

It's half and half. We need that balance for the world to function as it does. It sucks, yes, but for every evil douchebag there is an equally good guy out there so just take comfort in that.

A result of sin in the world. Be upset with what makes them that way. Not at them. And use your hurt to energize yourself to not let others feel as bad as you do when you are hurt.

Please don't base your question off this Q&A!?
It's what makes the humans human, but then again, animals have been known to isolate and be isolated by their own kind. hmmm...
Cause we can express ourselves in many different ways and some need more attention than others (hurt or be hurt?)
