Right click desktop the hit properties. Then settings tab at top far right. Then you cant miss it.

Windows 9X, XP. Right click on Desktop>Properties>Settings> Look at Screen Area.

You can change the monitors resolution by right clicking on the desktop and selecting properties. Then click settings.

Right click on a blank area of the screen (one without icons on it). Then select PROPERTIES from the tabs that showup. It will show the resolution and let you click on a new resolution.
