There is a new band every week.
Nothing will approach the Stones or the Beatles for quite a long time. Like revolutionary cars. The tin lizzy ( Ford Model T ) changed the entire world. Would you name any car this year as having changed the entire world? - there is a new one every week, and yes, some are great, with " new " features.... but change the world?
When a new car uses space/time to travel anywhere, anytime, instantly, then, it will be new.....
When a new band comes out that EVERYONE in the world sees, hears and talks about as " radical and new, and controversial " then, you will approach the Stones/Beatles ....

Clearly you do not comprehend the impact that The Beatles had on the world in the 1960's. They were so much more than a pop group / band.
No one compares I am afraid. Comparing a modern bands influences to the Beatles is like comparing a firework rocket to a Saturn 5.

Was there ever another band other than the Beatles?? I musta missed something. Maybe it was Woodstock or the Texas International Pop Festival that threw me, but NEVER, and I do mean NEVER, has anybody else put together a truly musical and hip group like the Beatles. The Beatles
I was born in '89, but even today the Beatles are still popular.
My favorite band is The Hives, but they don't get enough attention to be considered the best of my generation. Its a shame, they sound like a band from that era.

Lol- The Beatles are So in a class alone. Even many of today's 12 year olds like them. No other band has meant so much to so many..
But if I Hadda pick, I'd say Rush for me.

i love the beatles even though i am definitely not the age of my parents but i would say think of some hunky rock band w/ good music and there you go

there is no rock band that has had the same mania as the beatles, since the beatles...i could only wager on U2...but even they dont raise same level of hysteria
