No, but I have handled one. Water moccasins are common where I live. So are many poisonous snakes, such as diamondbacks and copperheads. There are plenty of nonpoinsonous snakes, as well. They can be confusing to identify sometimes, and back in 1995 I tried to catch one for a pet. I am amazed that the snakes I handled did not try to bite me, except when I stepped over a nest. I haven't tried to catch one since.

No I haven't been bitten or attacked by any kind of snake. I try to stay as far away from them as is humanly possible.'

No but when I was about 14 yrs. old I was bitten by by buds python!
