Brian Wilson in mid-late 60's. I heard him sing "Suf's Up"- just him alone playing piano on a video. So beautiful, delicate and fragile I am moved to the verge of tears everytime I hear it. You really owe it to yourself just to hear this one song.
UPDATE: I'm sorry, I just realized I misread the question. Do you mean "signer" as in someone who signed the Declaration of Independance? Or do you mean a sign language interpreter? Either way I don't have a favorite. Maybe Ben Franklyn, but he was kind of pompous. Or Garret Morris even though he didn't really "sign" for the deaf, but rather he shouted for the hard of hearing!

Tori Amos cause she uses her voice as a musical instrument and is very intrguing and charismatic.

Conor Oberst because he is this generations Bob Dylan. The best songwriter today.

I like Corinne Bailey Rae, Sarah McLachlan, John Legend and Michael Buble. They have great voices and in my opinion great tastes in their music.

i love his voice and the ability he has to sing a variety of styles and songs whilst making each one of them his own

plus he was a magnificent performer as well as a songwriter too
