Yes there are many genuine ones. Of course the bar girls have a different agenda, but they are definitely in the minority, although of course the easiest to meet.
I think that Thai women are generally more tolerant and more likely to compromise a little to make a relationship successful. When I lived there I used to fall in love only about 6 times oer day. How can you not fall in love with them.

Of course you can! But as mentioned, where are you meeting these girls? If its in some seedy bar in Pattaya and you've been flashing your cash all night what are you going to attract (well apart from muggers)? Try hanging out with the Thai girls in natural day light and see how that goes!

Why not. They are same other grils about love, feelings etc. But they think a lot about money, simply because they have no saved pension same in the western world.
But also remember, during the big culture difference to our, they are not all easy to live with.
And sure there are geniune thai girls. But they don't want foreigners as husbands......lol

Yes, I do know what you mean. They are very nice and pleasant, but could you ever really get to know them at a deep level, which is necessary for love, or would the next guy with a large wallet do just as well? Do different cultures fall in love in different ways?

There are the same number of genuine girls in Thailand as there are anywhere else. Even some of the bar girls are genuine and just trying to make a bhat. Try talking to girls outside of the bars sometimes. But, the only way to know if any girl is genuine is to get to know them. Take your time and good luck.
