The transporter! was really good! I also love a little known french to English movie called "Brotherhood of the wolf", it's directed by a Chinese director, who really does cool action scenes!

Matrix trilogy. Nothing beats the wire-fighting techniques and gravity defying stunts. Mind blowing work all the way. Every time I view them, the more gripping they are.
The next best is Force 10 from Navarone.

Yeah, it's dated now, but Close Encounters of the Third Kind was mind blowing.
Recently there's been a lot too much formula. You can always see the next scene coming.
