do ne of u girls play hockey? (i no u do) guys what do u think about it..and dont say oh i hate it its a mans sport..thats annoying

I think as a life long fan since the early 60's that womens hockey is long overdue and is only starting to take root. Great sport, although very expensive, but not gender specific. A great female goalie will come along soon , as well as a female Gretzky. Hope to see a woman playing regularly in the NHL someday. Until then, you can be a rink-rat as a young boy or girl, enjoy the sport of the game and women's hockey rocks.

i have no problem with girls playing hockey or ne other sport. but if i had a choice of what to watch it would be mens because I find there approach to the sport to be more entertaining

I do not play hockey, I would have like to when I was younger, but I love to go to the women's games.there are 6 of us that go. They play as hard as the men, and I would like to see it be more popular than it is. The men get the crowds and the fanfare, but I think a true hockey fan will go to the women's games too. hockey is hockey, no matter what level.

many girls i know are pretty good players....some are better then the guys ....the difficulty is how they can fair against guys in a game....if a girl wants to be able to check they have to join a men's team....if they are allowed...some women i know don't like playing danty women's hockey so they have to try out for men's hockey....and because they so long with not knowing how to play aggressive or hitting...they have a hard time.
but if anyone has seen canada's women's team....well they must have had time with guys team...cause they play aggressive...they deserve their spot...its a matter of if they can measure up equally.with the men

Girls playing hockey is fine, I play hockey and I've actually had some girls on my teams before. I have no problem with it.

Sure, why not. I went to a few girls hockey game during HS, they were hot! LOL... and a few girls Gophers game at the U of M.

i play field hockey! and i love it ! i want to start ice hockey but i dont know where to! its not always for guys alot of girls are better much better!!!

My 41-year old wife plays in a league. There are a ton of leagues for women along with co-ed leagues. Great sport for all!
