They're both up against weak D's. Cards vs 9ers and Eagles vs Houston. I'm leaning towards Warner since he's at home in the Cardinals new stadium. Could be one helluva game. If I start Warner I also have Anquan Bolden and Edgerin James starting too so I'd get double points when he passes to them. I got nobody working with McNabb but he looked good this preseason and Houston's pass D is terrible.... But the 49ers gave up more passing TD's then anyone in the league last year.... decisions decisions. I know they'll both do great but I need every point I can get this month.

PS- if you don't know then don't respond. Qualified responses with supporting info only please.

Kurt warner agains the niners come on man he is going to tear it up this season with edge there. Kurt is a great pick up if you got him in the late rounds i envy you

I wouldnt trust Donovan just yet with the WR's he has just wait a game or 2 just to get a feel how he is going to handle not having a go to Wideout.

As a Phoenix native, I'd always bet AGAINST the Cardinals. But this season I just don't know how they're going to screw up - just that they will.....eventually, but probably not on week 1.

That having been said, I'd go with Warner rather than McNabb - just because James will add enough variation, that the niners MUST heavily defend the run & there may be 3 or 4 50+ yard completins for Warner - I'm guessing Kurt might get over 350 yards this weekend.

The only issue that the Cards O-line STILL sucks, as it has for at least 10 years now, despite having as many as 4 first round draft picks in it (a few years ago). How about, Warner passes for 350 years, 3 INT's & is concussed in the fourth quater :-)

Kurt Warner. Boldin, Fitzgerald against sucky 49ers. If James can find some open holes the passing should be even better.

well, thats a tough one because mcnabb is going to have a good year, but i think warner would be your best bet, for the 1st week, then after that start mcnabb. it usually takes mcnabb a game to get warmed up, if i were you, i would start warner for this week only

McNabb, who knows if warner will even play with Leniart right there

even even with the undeniable fact that mcnabb is greater gifted precise now, i might initiate warner cuz of what he has shown he's cabable of doing contained in the previous and he has lots greater appropriate receivers than mcnabb.

Warner, he's got weapons and he's playing against a bad pass defense.

Do you really need another person to say Warner?

Warner.

But the 49ers are going to win! Go niners!

Sigh. It sounds weak to me too. Going to be another long year.
