I need a gown to wear to a ball... and I would like to get a backless one. I can't find one anywhere! Any suggestions?

I have looked at bridal shops and department stores and even on the internet at designer gowns.. no one seems to make backless gowns anymore. Any ideas?

I got one at a boutigue shop, a small shop with very good more unique clothes, and since I went there when they were having a sale it was much better. Robinson's Mays and Macy's and Nieman Marcus usually have those type of dresses as well. It's pretty much going to be higher end stores. Sometimes places that have prom dresses will have them.
You can also find great couture clothes at bargain rates on ebay - my personal favorite shopping location! Only with that type of dress you may want to try it on for fit.

get a model in the google image search and then ask a designer to make a similar one for u

i got this amazing strapless dress at marshall fields (now macy's) it was very elegant and still cute.
you can also try DEB. but those are more for homecoming or proms.
most department stores have more elegant dresses.

Try a bridal shop.
Like they have bridemaids dress and whatnot.
Or DEBS, they have cute evening dresses sometimes.

Have one custom made. Find pictures and take it to a seamstress!
