It's starting to freak me out, what could this mean?

WOW! I am glad you are asking that question. I have the same thing going...with 9:11 (no kidding) and it is not just the clock. Sometimes it is some other digital display. Like from a calendar or a stock price banner or a radio, something.

I have no good explanation yet. Perhaps only...that our brains filter certain things. We look unconsciously onto the clock a hundred times and do not even register that we glanced. But with a certain number the brain brings up an "Alert". And we noticed that we looked.

9:11 is easy to explain, there is a heightened awareness around that number. So my brain will raise the "alert" and I have the impression "oops again this number!".

8:08 - do you have any relationships to the number 8? I believe in some cultures (Chinese?) It is a lucky number. Subconsciously you may really like the number 8 because of that meaning and so it "pops" into your eyes when it appears.

Well I can tell ya this. For about a week it seemed everytime I looked at a clock at certain times either going to work early in the morning or leaving work or looking down at the clock on the weekend I saw 4:09 At the grocery store I saw 409 cleaner. I had just bought an old Chevy with a 409 engine and their was a commercial for an auto parts company locally owned saying they carried evrything from a 409 engine to a 502 big block. 409,409,409 over and over again. The next week 409 fell in the Oh.,Ky, and Ind pick 3 lotteries. I LOST A BUNDLE by not playing this # Tommorow I'm playing 808 in all 3 states Thankyou

1. You may be triggering off some stimulus. Maybe prime time TV gets you a little restless and you look at the clock eight minutes after.

2. Maybe you nhave your body so well trained that you're ready to do something else at 8:08, and you look at the clock.

3. Coincidence. do you ignore every time you look at the clock and it's not 8:08? It's similar to thinking of a song and hearing it on the radio. Do you think it's unusual if your thinking of a song and don't hear it on the radio?

Something like this happend to me too, I looked at my Yahoo Answers points and it said 808 when I was typing an answer about heaven existing, and I thought there must be something special about 808, because my Mother kept on bothering me to do things, and I felt like somehow I was not supposed to answer that question, or it was a very important question that I must answer.

For many days I would look at the time on my digital bedroom clock and the clock of my car and it would say 9:11 or 9:13. While I am typing this answer, I realize that maybe 8:08 is a reference to a religious book, beause references to religious books are made in that form. But I would not be sure which religious book, one would have to check out all of them or the main popular ones.

It's 8:08 two times a day, your odds aren't that bad. My ex used to get freeked out because he would look at the clock every 9:11, then september 11 happened. He would really freak out, but it's not rocket science, it's statistics. It's not like winning the lottery.

I don't know what it means but a few years ago every morning at 2:06am,I would wake up and look at the clock and it would always say the same thing, this went on for about 5 or 6 days in a row and it freaked me out to. I would just open my eyes look at it and go right back to sleep. It has never happened since but I just thought I would let you know that your not the only one that this has happened to.

I don't mean to worry you, but this means that you have not reset the clock for at least 3 months. It's been stuck on 8:08...

Just kidding...

This means you have a sense of time. It is a bit bizarre. But it's not uncommon.

Good luck

The only demons that could possibly harm you are the demons you create in your mind, by forming an overanxious obsession about patterns. Either they're numbers, or they're something that's out to hurt you. It's up to you whether or not you choose to be (and I know this sounds unkind) the victim of your own self created persecution complex, or not. Like birds flying past, or cracks in the sidewalk or the recurrence of the letter Q in texts, it's up to you to choose what perspective you view them in. It's not that I can't tell you whether they represent good of bad, I absolutely refuse to, because it is your choice, your mind, and your life. I can offer you an opinion, but I won't tell you how to live your life.

This happened to me as a kid, my watch will stop on December 3 at 3pm. This happened for almost six months I told my mother but disregard my comments. So I just kept a note of the ocurrences and noticed that it will happened every Wednesday and when I asked why I'll see my Grandmother's face in my mind. Again I told my mother, this time convinced that a message was trying to be given to us I did what I could to pass on the message but no luck. So when my maternal Grandmother passed away on December 3th on a Wednesday at 3pm I was ready but my mother wasn't. I prayed for my Grandmother and gave thanks for the privilege of knowing ahead of, so I'll have time to say good bye to her. With this I'm telling you to pay attention, ask what the message is about while taking noticed of what you feel, and listen carefully not with your regular ears, but listen with your heart. Also pay attention if this is happening at 8:08 am or pm. And let me know what happens.
