Why are men treated differently than women? Until we are all so mixed up with each other and no one can tell if you're black or white or green and blue polka dotted, people will be treated differently. I'm not saying that's right, just the way it is. Things are already better now then they were fifty years ago, I hope that in the next fifty color or where you're from won't matter so much.

When you say different you need to be more specific. Because you see a white woman talking to another white woman and she seems friendlier that she is to you, you dont know, maybe she has known that woman for many years.
I could ask it this way, Why do white people get treated different by black people?

Truthfully-there are many ethnic groups that are treated different by other ethnic groups. Not just black /white. Often times it comes from a lack of understanding about the differences between the two cultures.

I am not speaking for all white anglo-saxans but my experience has led me to belive that it is fear. White citizen are afraid to offend any one. IN the world of political corectness to not like a person of color is frowned upon therefor the Caucasian population is trying to ignore the upbringings of their parents and make an effort to accept every one. This however comes out as akward and possibly it is portrayed as acting different. Hope this helps

i dont know exactly what u mean by this but if its about affirmative action, its racist. imagine you were a poor white person who had the same opportunities as a poor black person and had the same qualifications as the other person but didnt get into the college or job or w/e because of your skin color...its wrong
