I saw the infomercial telling you that you can sell their products as your own business, send the orders to them and they will ship them out. I checked them out on the Better Business Bureau site and they gave them a good recommendation. I'm just curious if anyone has sold their products online and if you had any success with them?

I tried them a few years ago and wasn't really happy. There were some things that they didn't have when I ordered them, some of the things came in broken, and the rest of the stuff was cheap. I wouldn't recommend it.

If you are interested in selling products, the best thing to do would be to figure out what you want to sell, go on-line and find wholesalers that will sell you the merchandise at a very low price and then you can resell your product. Really, retail is a very hard industry to break into unless you are selling something unique as you have so much competition (malls, walmart, etc.). In order to get the wholesale prices, you will need an assumed name certificate (DBA) and a sales tax ID number from your local State Comptroller's Office. If you would like more information on how to start your own business, get with your local Small Business Development Center, they offer a free and confidential service. Good Luck!

The customer service is usually weak, and the shipping costs are outrageous. Other than that, it's a pretty fair source for a lot of medium-quality merchandise. The problem with selling that merchandise online is that a lot of people are trying to sell the same thing, so you have to find a way to really stand out from the crowd.

Feel free to email me if you have any more questions.

I ordered the start up package last year and it was a terrible experience. The products are great but if you try to sell them, either people will and can get it cheaper than what your selling it for. If you try ebay, remember about 60% of people are selling SMC like products. the whole system is totally saturated.
