Where could I buy one online that works? Can anyone recommend one?

Usually any will work, but I do suggest you choose DVD lens cleaning one, since the PS2 is a DVD player, the lens might be more fragile. I know they sell some at Wal Mart, K-Mart...any big place...

it wont matter what lens cleaning discs you get for the older model for playstation 2 i know that for a fact cause in the end the best way to clean them after a while is taking it apart and cleaning the inside cleaning the lens and wiping out all the dirt i should know that for a fact cause i do have a lens cleaner that will work on cleaning my playstaion 2 i thought it was working and than i find out it wasnt working cause after a while it collected so much dirt it stoped running at first i thought it died on me it didnt dawn on me that it was just totally dirty on the inside but at first it wouldnt play cause after a while it was just collecting dirt and more dirt i played it so much it was just covered in dirt so after a while when i wanted to play it wouldnt play at first than it would say read disc error or something like that i didnt matter if the game was old or a new game after a while thats what it said to me and at first i thought my system was shot and later my dad took it apart and look inside and found out it was just so dirty it wouldnt play so it wont matter what disc you get eventually you will have to take it apart and clean the inside to clean the inside to keep it running you would think the cleaners do their job but after a while they collect so much dirt not even the discs can fix that best thing to do when it needs cleaned take it apart and clean the inside other wise your just spending money and waisting time even a good cleaner would only clean so much but once it picks up dirt not even that can clean that much dirt

the same ones for regular cd or dvd players will do. they're available at best buy, comp usa, fry's and any other computer store.

try 99c stores. get the trisonic stuff. it's as good as it gets for a buck
