But like everything else.......study it first...don't believe people who do NOT have a single clue about astrology that it is crap just because they have been told/taught so.........Too many are quite interested once their get their chart done.
You have to have an enquiring mind and decide for yourself.
Would I talk about the Coran or something I do not know anything about but read propaganda in the National Enquirer ?? nope ! I don't even talk about the Bible which might be the Biggest Deception so far......who knows ?? And by the came way later than astrology.
You have to know your date of birth, time of birh and location to know your chart properly.
Broad-minded Sagittarius myself.

ok, asking a general question like this can't help. I do not know about the Chinese astrology, but as to telling us you are Sag is cool but misses a lot of detail! Like when you were born, time, date, year..So many things effect you, many planets are involved. Ok, I am not an expert and follow astrology for fun but this is what I learned from my aunt who studied it. And doing someones chart is very involved with much math. Hope someone can help you out :) I for one get along quite well with Sag. we are compatible in many cases. My aunt was a Sag a she was a very kind and caring person, however, yes, she could be brutally blunt!

Oh My Gosh! I am so very sorry but I have a problem with Sags. I know that deep down you all are true humanitarians and have a good heart. Always trying to save the under dog. As freindly as Sagittarius are they can't seem to keep friends around for long. Every Sag I have ever come into contact with has the same type of outlook. You don't trust anyone, you think you know everything, you tend to be very negative when giving your opinion and that reminds me, you also give your opinion when it wasn't asked for. All Sagittarius should be very careful when giving their opinion. You tend to be too honest and it causes people to be hurt or offended by the absolute truth. In other words, don't be so damn blunt. A lack of brutal honesty is not necessarily dishonest. It is a matter of discretion. Also, you tend to have a low self esteem. Sorry for the negative response...

It depends on the element of the dragon.
For example, I was born in 1976, in the year, month, day, hour, and minute of the Fire Dragon. I'm also a Saggie. Since both are fire signs, I have an easy time inspiring people, but it's also equally easy to destroy a person's ego. So I make a conscious effort in my life to be really careful with my words.

My wife is Korean and my sons were born in Seoul. I had to pay $50 each (!) for a Korean fortune teller to cast their futures. Funny thing is the personality predictions were oddly accurate.
One thing about asian astrology: The day which you were born is more important than the year. While the year, hour and month all come into play, it's the day and to a lesser extent the year that determine personality.
