I think that I may be losing my hearing because it just comes and goes. I can watch TV just fine or play on the computer but then suddenly I go deaf. I can see my wife's mouth moving but I just can't hear any sound!
The funny thing is that as soon as she leaves the room, I can hear just fine again.
What could be the problem? Does anyone else have this same condition? Am I going to die?

,. That is a common illness and I even think somewhat contagious. My husband has that too, along with my son-in-law, a few of my brother-in-laws, some friends husbands and even some of my brothers. Sad to say, I don't think there is a cure for it yet and the only way that you might die from it, is from not hearing the fry pan coming until it hits you along side of the head.

Your hearing will return when your wife smacks you upside the head with a frying pan. Have no fear. Very common among husbands. Have a good afterlife.
