I wasn't aware of this, but I'm very happy to hear it. Same sex marriages should be allowed. It's discriminatory to not allow everyone who is a consenting adult to be able to get married. If you accept homosexuals as members of society (which I do), they need to be able to have the same privileges as everyone else.
You can't pick and choose what privileges they should or shouldn't have.
It's OK for them to be able to do THIS, but it's not OK for them to be able to do THAT!! C'mon, give me a break!!
Who died and made heterosexuals God!!
By the way, I am male, married, and very straight.
I believe one state has already legalized same-sex marriages, and more will be following in the near future. The tide is turning. There are a great number of homosexuals in the U.S. and most of their straight family members, and friends support there cause, and belief they should have the same rights as straight couples. Those who think otherwise are discriminatory, and there selective "moral" standards will one day place them in the minority in our country. Change is already under way.

You know what? I think it's just their excuse to get the public to like them.
Many "Friends" fans began hating Angelina after the Brad&Jen split because we all knew Brad cheated on Jen with Angelina which makes her a loose woman.
So in order to get many lost fans back in action, they decide... "Hey, lets get homosexual fans from the gay community."
I don't think that's the reason why Brad and Angelina aren't getting married... I believe they both don't want to get married because they're both loose and stupid.
I used to be a fan of Angelina but I'm appaled at her behavior in any means to commit infidelity with such a popular couple at that.
And.. why didn't she have a baby with Billy Thorton? How come she always adopted until Brad? Trap MUCH?

its all a load of sugar coated bullshit! common sense would tell u that obviously they dont want to get married and that they want to be live the way they do now without makin it look like a Gene Simmons type of relationship. by using this "marriage for all" thing as an excuse, they dont have to get married and hollywood wont be wonderin when will they tie the knot cuz, be real, do u really think the entire united states is gonna be convinced to change their views on marriage just because two unmarried moive stars that are havin an unlegitemit child can get married and then divorce 10 months later? dont think so.

I think they are either using that to draw attention to the cause, or as an excuse not to get married. If they weren't famous, they would have gotten married by now, or have decided not to. I think it is a way to deal with their personal decision in front of the media.
There will always be lobby groups that think like blondeqtwitanicebooty . It is unfortunate that ignorance is rampant, but life is like that. Where I am, gays marry. They don't 'not marry' in protest that other gays cannot marry, so why would straight couples?

they did not get married. It replaced into basically media hoopla. As time-honored. they have publicly reported that they received't get married till each body contained in the country that wantsw to get married has the right to (aka gay marriage). I appreciate them for that and that i kind-of wish they carry onto that statement. As for why that they had little ones and were residing at the same time with out being married...the affection is teh significant area. they have both been married before, and for this reason see the affection they percentage because the biggest bond. they have legally followed maximum of their little ones.

In other words, they're either not getting married or they're trying to throw the media off their scent and make them think they're not getting married so they can do it in (relative) peace at some point.
They need the positive publicity right now and it's a fruity idea.
I feel for the illegitimate kids.

Why are you so concerned about someone else decision to get married or not? Does it affect you in some mysterious way that no one knows about. Everybody needs to learn to mind their own business. Thats the problem with this country. We can't help sticking our nose where it doesn't belong.

I think they are stupid. Ok..so they aren't going to get married because not all people can marry?? Why did they have a child when not everybody can have children. I think they should always be nekkid. because not everyone can afford clothes. Give me a break. Their not getting married cause they don't love each other enough to make that kind of commitment

Well if you check out her track record and his, I think it is a good decision. Besides, celebrities who marry in hollywood, never lasts. they seem to marry for the moment, and then it's gone!

I think that is an excuse not to make a comittment to one another. That "protest" is not going to make the laws change. Marriage is an expression of your committment to the person you are in love with, not a political statement!!
