I do their second album was great! I don't think they'll ever be back and if so it won't be the same.

Nickelback and Creed were very different from one another. I do agree Nickelback all songs are very similar. But Creed had an excellet lyricist in Scott Stapp and a very talented guitarist.
I would recommend you listen to Alterbridge, which is pretty much Creed without Stapp. The guitarist, Mark is better allowed to show off his talent. I do believe Stapp controlled the band to much and this effected how good they could have been, but I admit i was a very big fan a few years ago.

Long answer...they weren't as good as everyone made them out to be. Did you notice all their songs sounded the same? All songs were in drop d tuning. I think the guitarists just let their guitars go out of tune and then they played. Creed was horrible and will not be missed.
