1600 hours is 4pm.Hint subtract 1200 from the 4 didget number to get the "civilian time". 1600 - 1200 = 400

1200 is 12 o'clock and anything prior to it is obvious. then you just count up 1300 = 1, 1400 = 2, 1500 = 3, 1600 = 4pm. Yep that simple.

A time such as1600h isn't just used by the military. There are many "civilian" operations that use the 24 hour clock, most noticeably the airline industry.

4pm, When I think of military time I automatically put 12 in my head and on my fingers I count up to the number given. 12/ 13. 14. 15. 16 that's 4 fingers
