Go to Pep boys or napa or Shucks etc (any large chain auto parts supplier) and get the whole kit for around $35.00 and this kit comes with all the fitting etc to change your system from the old R12 to new R134system. It also comes with easy directions and 2 cans of R134. Its very easy and simple . This way you change it over to the new system and have the connections for future use. The kit will have EVERYTHING you will to do the job and I repeat its as easy as changing a light bulb.

It's illegal to sell in the US anymore. Just get a conversion kit for R-34. They're amazingly simple to attach.
