Hydrogen peroxide is NOT good for treating wounds. It's a chemical tissue debrider. It inhibits healing.

It doesn't really help from healing cuts it just keep the wound from getting infected.

If the vet did not recommend anything else, it should be alright. Keep it clean and try to keep them from licking. There are bandages and other options out there, so research those too. Where are the punctures, by the way?

it disenfects the wound so it wont get infected but if you use it more than twice it can kill the new growing tissues
