A furious Bill Clinton is warning ABC that its mini-series "The Path to 9/11" grossly misrepresents his pursuit of Osama bin Laden - and he is demanding the network "pull the drama" if changes aren't made.

A disclaimer shown at the film's start says it "is not a documentary" and "contains fictionalized scenes, composite and representative characters and dialogue, as well as time compression."
ABC spokeswoman Pat Preblick reiterated the disclaimer yesterday when asked about the complaints.
Former New Jersey Gov. Thomas H. Kean, the chairman of the September 11 commission and a consultant to the production, said the miniseries is "balanced" and shows "a colossal failure of government."
"If you portray that accurately," he added, "people from both [the Clinton and Bush] administrations will complain."

The first amendment unfortunately has become a tool the media uses to print, show or say what ever they want to with out regard to fact.

I am not saying that Clinton is right or wrong with that statement. I personally think he sat upon his hands and coward to the liberal please everyone groups with out regard to the interests of the United States.

I am no longer a fan of the Media, Hollywood and "entertainers" in general. Some of them are ok, but the majority of them think that because they make so much money they are all knowing in the world affairs and we poor ignorant people should follow along.

The first amendement ensures freedom of speech, not freedom to bash and slander.........

The thing is if they were to make a film of the same type about Bush it would be a #1 box office draw

Clinton doesn't have a worry in the world. It's just entertainment People either like him or they don't.

So Bill? the entertainment world is always looking for some big exclusive programming. Many will watch it. Just as many won't

Besides, in a few years, someone will do the same favor for George W. Bush.

Im not a big Clinton fan but,
they have every right to still put the show out
but haveing Clinton on your bad list isnt always the best choice.
Similar to Weird Al and his song "You're Pitiful" based on James Blunts song "You're Beautiful"
He can still put the song out but that would tick off Universal Studios which he doesn't want, so he still has the song for download on his website but is not putting it on his next album: "Straight Outta Lynwood"

ABC should not take an event like 9-11 and change the facts for the benefit of their movie and network profits

Well, the program is obviously an exaggeration. That's how shows get viewers. Shock.

Still, he shouldn't try to get it pulled. It's not like they're calling it a documentary and saying it's all fact - it's a freaking mini series for tv. People who believe what the tv tells them are retarded anyway.

I am guessing that you are a conservative/Republican/Clinton Basher.

Do you remember the mini-series about Ronald Reagan and how conservatives that that he was not represented correctly in it?

It is natural for people to get upset when something is done in a public light (mini-series would count) that does not show them in the best light.

It is only natural...everyone will do it.

clinton (lower case intentional) still thinks he is somebody, I never thought he was, and obviously some other people do too (because his wife is (supposedly) a strong leader of something). I will continue to sit back and laugh at the hoops some people will jump through to please a has been or a want to be. This stuff is better than any Soap Opera, get your giggles!!!

What pursuit of Bin Laden? funny that only the democrats seem to have a problem with this show. guess that they figured that not having any foreign policy for 8 years would shield them from scrutiny.

Yeah! What happened to the First Amendment? Oh! That's right! It stands in the way of the liberal's goals! Therefore, they have to right to trample all over it! More moral relativism.

I think it demonstrates just how dangerous the far left has become.
