Hi!

There is this wonderful line of skin lightening products that I used when I lived in the Middle East. It was amazing... my skin was pale, soft and beautiful. I even gave the products as gifts to my friends and they loved it as well.

The products are from Loreal... and the line of face lightening creams/toner/etc is called "White Perfect". It is usually marketed towards Asian/Arab women, but I used it for the last two years and I loved it... (I am caucasian/hispanic).

I have yet to find any of these skin lightening products in the US stores. I can't even find it on the internet for purchase... all I find are pictures. I am going to have a friend of mine send me some more from overseas. Maybe you will have better luck than me though... just because I haven't found it in stores yet doesn't mean that you won't....

Loreal's White Perfect face cream and toner is awesome, so if you can find it, I recommend it. Below is an article about one of the products from that line...

"L’Oreal presents White Perfect Deep Whitening Double Essence" -- The L’Oreal Laboratories introduces the Deep Whitening Double Essence, the latest innovation from the White Perfect range. Intensive action against brown spots: The concentration of Melani-block acts to regulate the production of melanin for a visible efficiency against brown spots. This exclusive formula also contains Vitamin C to help slowing down skin darkening. Immediate radiance action at the surface of the skin: White Perfect Double Essence contains Micro White Pearls, which act as light reflectors. As a result, your skin tone is more even, luminous and fairer. It also contains lactic acid, active yet gentle “soft peeling” agent to remove dark dead cells."

The only real solution south of caking some sort of foundation or sunscreen is to eat correctly. Eating at least 30 to 35 different types of food rich in vitamin and minerals. Then taking good quality vitamin and mineral supplements. On top of that take collagen and Q10 supplements.

DO NOT TAKE: refined SUGAR of any type. This includes chocolate, candy, soda, and almost all types of processed food.

Do take a little bit of probiotics such as yoghurt.

Also excercise and raising metabolism/sweating is good for your skin.

Anyway beautiful skin comes from good food, good rest, excercise and a stress free life. Sounds impossible but just remember it's not just one thing you do. It's a combination of many things so don't be discouraged. Try to live a healthy life. It's a lifestyle and not a fad or fashion.

How 'bout you get some good sunblock and head for the beach in the summertime? Tan are always good. Not tanning booths. They're really bad for your skin. Although, it might just be because you are a bit weaker than you were in the younger days, so your skin turned pale. About the oily stuff, everyone has oil on their skin. But if you have a lot of it, I suggest asking your doctor about.

Stay out of the sun - wash your face with a gentle cleaner. You can become temporarily pale by wiping your skin with hydrogen peroxide. It doesn't last very long but if you were trying to do a photo shoot it would pale you out for a little while

Go to the drugstore and get Porcelana or Esoterica with a daytime spf. It has hydroquinone (sp?) and that will lighten your skin, plus the spf will guard your skin from uv rays. It will also make your face nice and soft. It's located where all the skincare products are like Oil of Olay, Clearasil, etc. Stay away from Proactive because it has benzoyl peroxide and will stain your clothing.
