Since Tony Stewart was so high and mighty at the beginning of the year and stated "If I dont make the race for the chase I should be fired" Do you think he should be fired if he doesnt make the chase?

It's funny you said this, because Tony himself once said if he doesn't make the chase, he should be fired. And to answer your question, I do NOT think he should ever be fired if he doesn't make the chase. ALL drivers get good years and not-so-good years, and that is what mixes things up in NASCAR racing. Wouldn't it boring if the same person was in the lead all the time?

I'm a Tony fan, and I think he will certainly make the chase. He has a lot of talent, and he will do everything he can to win...so don't worry about ol' Smoke!

He should get fired and he should get kicked out of NASCAR cause hes an arrogant a**hole.

He wont make the chase and he wont be fired. But he'll wish he were because hes going to be so embarrassed not being a top ten driver.

All drivers have good seasons and bad. No, he should not be fired - I'm being kind - I really do not like him at all.
And, even though he's still in the chase - he's starting 40th tomorrow night in his backup car - which could mean the end for him for this season!

As much as I like to say I hate Tony Stewart, no he shouldn't be fired. He is like the bad guy on the soap opera. Ya hate him, but he creates alot of the drama that attracts me to the sport.

He won't. One time he also said that people should stick to driving on the pro tracks and then the next weekend he was driving on a local dirt track the night before a Nascar race. I don't think he's memory's too good.

Tony Stewart is handsdown an awesome racer. He proved that he can win in any kind of race car he straps himself into.

No, that would be stupid. He's one of the best and top drivers out there right now, it'd be pure stupidity to get rid of him. He made that statement for the simple fact that he knows he has a top team and that he's capable of being in that position. But you shouldn't worry :) He'll be in the chase

He should have been fired a long time time ago because of his anger problem he has when some bumps him and spins him out. He seems to think it is ok for himself to do it but if some one does it to him he gets mad and punches them out in the pits after the race.
