Well, consider two things: It's yahoo, run by yahooians. there are no real rules, and no one really follows them , and no way to check up on them or report the workers. so in that sense, it's a free for all.

the other thing is many yahooian workers do not understand the finer nuances of the English language and tend to side with their 3rd world counterparts over violations. so when you see a question that says "name 8 ways to market a product and give examples", and you say "get a life", you will get reported.

I have been reported for the same answer I have gotten "best answer"s for.

I got reported yesterday for giving a nasty answer to a nasty question. I mean, WTF, how else was I supposed to answer? The question was about if you've ever had a crush or sexual encounter with a family member. I was just answering about how a cousin in my family liked me more than cousins should like each other and I got descriptive about some of the comments he made to me. But I've seen way worse shyt on here and I get reported for that. My answer and the whole damn question got deleted. I probably would've won Best Answer for it too. Damn, 10 points gone down the Yahoo drain...

A girl asked for a pic of someone by the last name of "Pardo".... as a joke, I gave her a link to a pic of Don Pardo, the SNL announcer. She reported me for "not a question/answer". Didn't make sense at all.

I have never been reported, who cares you did nothing wrong, so you should not worry about it. I have put stuff like that and it is true.
