Whenever I go over to a friends house, I usually see a lot of trophies and awards. I have fourteen total awards. Do most 12 year old kids have more or less?

Compete with yourself and do not compare yourself with others. It isn't good to do that.

It really depends on the kid and what they do. If the kid is really involved with a lot of things then they tend to have more, but if they don't have a lot of extra ciricular activites then chances are they won't have as many. What is more important is that the 12 year olds are haivng fun with their activities and getting the awards or trophies are just perks to that.
