i hate pumping gas, so i wait until the car won't make it to the next gas station, and then i get gas.
do you fill up everytime, or put 5 or 10 bucks in? i never fill up...i should, but i don't...

last minute, never fill up, car is a hunk of junk and i don't want to have money tied up in gas when it goes bye bye.

I fill up at a quarter of a tank. I fill the tank full because if you notice the gas goes faster when you are towards the end of the tank. I do think that their are two things in life that are a waste of time, getting gas and going to the bathroom!

I usually hit the pumps when I get below 1/8 of a tank. That's where the red zone starts on my gage. Only once have I seen the red warning light since i bought my current car.
I always fill the tank to the top. I figure that I will spend the money on gas eventually, and I might as well get it over at once instead of stretching it out over several stops.

I usually fill it at a quarter of a tank just because my area will go for miles without a gas station, and I usually fill it up all the way unless I am running short on cash.

Hubby waits till the last minute, which drives me crazy, then fills it up. I always get gas at about a 1/4 of a tank, I usually add $20.

When the light comes on, I fill up. I hate pumping gas too - so I fill it up all the way so I don't have to go as often.

I fill mine when it gets to 1/2 full. It's because when I was a kid my Aunt would alway take us places , and run out of gas either on the way there or on the way back. She still runs out of gas to this day. I've been driving for 29 years, and i've never run out of gas. Thank to my Aunt. LOL

Think about it this way: gas has weight. More weight means you go slower and get worse fuel economy...It won't really be noticeable though...I generally wait till quarter full and fill it up or whenever I see extremely low gas prices, I'll get as much as I can lol.

Wait until the light comes on. The other day i actually RAN OUT of gas. It has never happened before in 20 yrs of driving.

in my old car i would drive on fumes and struggle to the gas station to fill up for ten or twenty dollars. but more recently i fill up completely when i have a 100 km's to go till gas runs out.

I like to wait till that little gas pump shows up on my dash board and then I fill it up with $50.00. Good to the last drop.
And I am not talking about coffee either.
