AGE: 39 (look 59 act 19) so its not that
GENDER: MALE but I don't like too many sprorts and I actually listen whe a woman talks so, that isn't it.
INCOME: fluxuates too much to be a consideration
PROFESSON: changed jobs so many times sometimes even I forget what I do
RELIGION: AH..here we go...that's the one...it is the strength and direction I gain from that that Imost identify with. I am my religion and my religion is me. Just for the record, the religions is ASATRU, the religion of the ancient Norse deities (Odin, Thor, etc).

I am female, 43, non-denominational. I'm middle income and my profession is clerical. Religion comes the closest except I'm not religious. My personal beliefs and values help define me though. I could care less about income or profession. I have no real choice about my age or gender. But I definitely believe in certain things and I think that my life reflects those beliefs.

Religion. We cannot change our age or gender. Income and profession are outside of our person, we can make them as we want, but they cannot make us what we want. Religion however allows to develop ourself. We can look to what we hope to become and strive toward that. This is a spiritual path.

Our definition is determined by our mind. It has always changed. We defined ourself as a child when we were five, then as a teen, and then as a college student, or whatever, and so on. But in reality, through using our mind and heart in a religious way we can truly define ourself.

My age and gender do not matter. They play no role in my definition nor in my answer.

This is a toughy I would say spiritual belief but only religion is listed amongst others. If one has a strong spiritual foundation, one shines in the positive qualities that attract others around them and find success in any profession and age. Success is peace and acceptance as one defines as their own success. Everyone emotionally matures at different intervals as their are different people.

None of the above matters to me. I am 50 & I have discovered for me what is self-defining are "matters of the heart". Are you kind, compassionate, a good listener, care about being of service to others ( even in the simpilest ways, ie. opening a door, buying a sandwich for a obviously sick & needy homeless person, volunteering to drive someone who does not have a car. Looking a person in the eye that you do not know & smiling.) Honesty, love for all mankind.
Those are what defines who I have become today & who I seek to associate with to do even greater works in the world on a grander level.

I pointed out as a feminist and agnostic whilst i became into 19, have not replaced that view in 30 years. yet I additionally became into very quiet and introverted till my 30's, once I have been given greater advantageous, did no longer care what maximum folk theory anymore, and as a substitute of being a quiet feminist, I grew to grow to be an outspoken feminist. I grew up in the previous abortion became into criminal, in the previous the pill became into extensively disbursed, whilst there have been ladies's jobs and adult males's jobs, and you should no longer notice for the different gender's activity. I bear in techniques whilst "purely undesirable human beings have been raped, incest and newborn molestation hardly if ever got here approximately, and purely undesirable human beings have been batterers", or so it became into reported..... i might by no skill opt to have lived in the previous feminists replaced our society.

I am 29, female, would describe myself as spiritually aware rather than religious, early childhood teacher on a reasonable income. All of these things are part and parcel of who I am, but none of them define me. I am constantly growing, changing, learning new things, embracing new ideas and shedding old beliefs and opinions. Sometimes I'm simple, sometimes complex. I am different things to different people. I do not define myself, because what's past is past and what lies before me is still unwritten.

gender. there is a reson that it is important, it affects who we are. If it was not then people would not go through the pain and expence of gender reassignment surgery they would just "call" themselves the other. Also, most people statistically define themselves as a gender before race, religion, etc.
female, catholic, sociologist, 33
