Dermabond or "Superglue" is even better - Heals wounds and is not painful, great for kids. My 9 year old cut her forehead open - the ER "glued" it and it looks great now.

Well I had many stitches and staples last year.I can tell you that the staples hurt much worse coming out.Sometimes staples are the only option because of the location of the wound and the tightness of the skin.I have an extremely high tolerance for pain and often just remove my own stitches.I never could have done that with the staples. They were in my left foot.16 of them.I had over 50 stitches throughout my body. They didn't bother me.

I've had both and I didn't mind either one but the staples are a lot quicker. The stitches will leave a nicer looking scar because they can be more precise. The staples do hurt when removed and the stitches kind of tickled when they remove them. I think most of the time now they use the dissolving stitches and you don't have to have those removed they just fall out. That's what they used on my husband last year.

It is staples like you would use on a carboard box, bigger than the ones you use on paper.
I know that sticthes do not hurt like people say.
they might a small bit when they are removed.
And believe me when I say that I have had plenty of them.
I do not think I would care for staples in me. give me a suture anytime.

Stables kinda stink with all the horsies mules and everything!
I would prefer STAPLES! Instead of stiches. Work better. Fewer scars!
You're welcome.

Stiches do hurt more, but it will pay off at the end. Staples will hurt like **** when it's removed

I just had 12 staples removed from my back, there was only a slight sting when they removed them, with stitches you risk tearing one out

Staples dont leave the ragged marks as stitches do, after everything is healed.

I would elect for that, if you are given a chance.

I wish you well..

I don't eat either staples or stitches in a restaurant. Do you eat them in Nice, France? Yuck. I thought French food was good but now I am not so sure.

I think staples are generally used for the deeper cuts...
