A word of advise, it depends what county your in and who the judge is with in the county you will be going to. Remember your dealing with politics and judges are over loaded with so many cases. Is the judge "old school" or is he young yet with children in school? And judges usually listen to the court appointed attorneys for the children. So ask questions to them first,if can.

I have been on both sides of the coin and I know the children's attorney have more say than just about anyone in that court room. Also do you have proof the children are better off with you? And usually, there has to be proof the children are in some sort of danger and or you have the means to provide for them in the best way. Unless you can prove, the mother is mentally ill, which means a psych test for you both. It will get messy and not so nice. Good luck.

I would need to know more about the situation.
I am a grandmother who has legal custody of a grandchild and I had to go to court and get conservatory custody.
But I have dealt with a few different situations where kids are concerned.

I live in Texas and might be able to help. But no guarantees.......lol
Feel free to email me if you wish and I will try to help.
