OK, there is no solid evidence of the existence of God. There is no solid evidence disproving the existence of God. A relationship with God requires faith, it's that simple. If you are looking for evidence, you are going to be very disappointed.

Flyingdove & EW: what you're using is a logical fallacy called argument from personal incredulity. See first link below for a definition.
Lonelybapcmau: OK, so you're looking for evidence that god exists. Perhaps, though, you should ask yourself why you think it's important that he (or she, it, or they) exist.
There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that any religion's god(s) has/have ever existed. None. Gods were inventions of primitive peoples to explain the unexplainable, enforce morality, and give comfort against the finality of death. The whole concept of faith is a religious one, precisely _because_ there is no evidence. If there was proof that god(s) existed, what need would there be for faith?
So ask yourself, what if there were no god(s)? Would your life be any different? With no afterlife, would you feel compelled to go out and rape, pillage and murder? No? Good. That just means you're a normal human being.
I'm not writing all this in the hope that you will "convert" to atheism, though I certainly wouldn't dissuade you. I'd just like you to seriously consider how believing in a god would make your life better. Seriously, some people need religion; it gives them hope, community, comfort, or a sense of purpose. Such people are not ready to live a life without their beliefs.
If you feel that you don't need church or religion for these things, though, then you may be ready to join the ranks of the freethinkers. Freethinkers are not just atheists, but agnostics, secular humanists, deists, and a host of others. (FYI deists believe in a god, but one that has a strict hands-off policy once he created the universe.) There is a certain refreshing mental liberation that comes from not living under the limiting influence of religion, but also a heightened sense of personal responsibility. Not believing in a god means knowing that this life is the only one you get. That to me has always made life seem more, not less, precious.

Aquinas says that one can reason from created effects to the unmoved mover (i.e. God). That is, God (utrum deus sit) is known by or through his created effects. The Bible says that just as a house needs a builder, so the cosmos needs a maker (Hebrews 3:4). Finally, Augustine (an bishop from North Africa) relates that he had an experience which resulted in him being more willing to doubt his own existence before doubting the existence of God. The mystical tradition of Christianity has made similar remarks. One philosopher named William Alston has published a book that discusses the mystical perception of God.

Another doubting Thomas. Your very existence is proof that God exists. Look at the birth of a baby, and see if you don't wonder the meaning of life and God's benevolence and almighty powers. Look at the Earth and all living creatures.

okay, i whent through that too, but you know what you have to do if you want to believe, try reading your religion's holy book. it helps so much. As for proof. well... that's a good question. i think it's just in the human nature to ask that question. There really isnt any proof, that's why people have faith.
god is there because people need somthing to believe in. whether it is money, the bottle, druugs, or god. people need somthing greater to blame things on, or to thank for good things.
as for proof the only proof i can give in in the perfection of nature, the power of natural disasters, and the human body, especially the brain. it works so well, somthing must have pushed it to become so acclerated over other animals.

It does -- at lease within minds and the culture of believers -- and that indirectly affects the rest of the people.
When it has come to that, whether God really exists or not is a mute point. "How do we tolerate and deal with the conflicting ideas and believes?" would be a more important question to ask.

For me, all I have to do is see a tiny flower, or even a blade of grass to know there is a creator greater than us all. For as much as mankind has invented, from the wheel, to our knowledge of the universe; from bandaging a sore, to brain surgery, or organ transplant; we have yet to come close to creating anything so intricate, so complete in every detail and yet so very much a part of everything around it, as even a blade of grass.
To me, people who can't see God are people who can't see the forest for the trees.

In my life I've seen way too many coincidences for God not to exist. From my perspective, yes I was reared by believers, but to just look at the orderliness of the universe connotes a creative mind at work.
