I have picked up hitch-hikers but I havent in these past years. People have changed so much. It's just not as safe

I used to hitch hike a lot and pick up hitch hikers but I don't anymore. Guess the way things are these days it is just not safe to do either one.

Yes I have picked up a hitch-hiker before. It was a older man that looked like he would love to get out of the rain. We had a great talk about God, and children. I haven't seen anyone since that I felt good about picking up.

I have never hitch-hiked,,, but I did pick up an elderly man who was walking w/ a cane... he was really sweet...
My mother in law had a fit, and said that could of been a set up!! he-he... Now she thinks I go around picking up hitch hikers.!

When I was nineteen my boyfriend and his friend and I were going to the fair and he stopped and picked up a hitch-hiker. It was kinda cool he told us where he had been and where he was going, smoked a dam good ummmm....well anyway it was the BEST but still there was the underlying fright that something could go wrong at any minute!

Yes, I've hitch-hiked for years back in the 70's...
I've only picked up a few since I moved south...

Yes, I have hitchhiked, and picked up hitchers....but I dont anymore. 70s, hitching home from college. Got picked up by some hippies and got high. 80s, picked up a guy whose car was stuck in the mountains. Gave him a ride to town, the phone number of a tow truck.
Nothing very eventful in either case.

Yes i have hitch-hiked many times in m life...
When i was younger...
I went from Western New York,to Florida by myself once...
A lady in her Chevy Van...picked me up and pretty much made my trip better for a few days...
And when in Toronto the next year...
Two friends of mine and i hitched across Ontairio and down to Detroit...
I was just a tiny bit adventurous in those days...
As now i'm very adventurous...
Wanna hop to Europe with me?;)

When I was a kid, from ages 15 to around 20, I hitchhiked everywhere. I was open and trusting in those days. And when i bought a car, I would give hitchhikers a lift. I figured that it was good karma to pay back the generous people who'd given me rides over the years.
Now I would neither hitchhike or offer a ride to a hitchhiker.

No I have never hitched hiked, and I would only pick someone up that I knew very very well.
